Nina van den Bergh is the new co-president of Volt Ireland. She is passionate about social equality, democracy and determined to improve sustainability in Ireland and Europe fairly. Nina moved from the Netherlands to Ireland in September 2025, returning after a successful Erasmus exchange in 2023.
Her academic background is in sustainability, with a BSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and an MSc in Environmental Policy from University College Dublin. From May to August 2026, she contributed to the JusTACE research project, advancing the just transition in the Irish agri-food sector.
Her main responsibilities in Volt Ireland are internal and external communication, regional collaboration, and sustainability.
